Summer nights come alive when you Walk on the Wild Side at Boyce Thompson Arboretum. Discover the unique sights, sounds, and smells of Sonoran Desert nocturnal life as your flashlight beams along the trails. Learn from local partners with live animal encounters and educational activities. Keep cool with a treat from Kona Ice, available for purchase.


When the sun goes down the work begins on the night the shift. Uncover the adaptations and importance of nighttime pollinators like bats and moths.

Please wear closed toe shoes and bring a flashlight for each person in your party.

Girl Scouts will receive a special glow in the dark patch for their participation.
