Join us for our first annual Girl Scout Arbor Day Celebration! Celebrate all things trees with Boyce Thompson Arboretum, home to more than one thousand trees! Girl Scouts and their guests are invited to explore the Arboretum, participate in a tree scavenger hunt, and make tree-themed crafts. The first 100 Girl Scouts to complete the tree scavenger hunt will receive an exclusive 2024 Boyce Thompson Arboretum Arbor Day patch!

This event is pre-registration only and can not be purchased the day of. Check in will be open from 8:30 am to 12 pm. Activities will be available from 9 am to 1 pm. Participants are encouraged to bring a picnic lunch to enjoy in our picnic area.

While many of our trails are navigable to most mobility devices, they consist primarily of uneven and unpaved terrain. Please contact education@btarboretum.org or call (520)689-4700 for more information. 

Refund policy: Boyce Thompson Arboretum reserves the right to cancel programs at its discretion. Programs will run as scheduled, regardless of weather, unless participants are contacted directly by BTA staff by email. We reserve the right to substitute any activity in the event of unforeseen circumstances. We do not offer refunds or rainchecks for programs unless the program is canceled by BTA staff.
