1:30 PM  –  2:30 PM

On this exploration of the Sonoran Desert, you'll see jojoba, creosote, and other plants while learning of their medicinal and edible uses. Join us to learn how prickly-pear cacti, ratany, agaves, jojoba and other native plants have fed, healed and clothed Sonoran Desert peoples for more than a 1,000 years.

Please note: this guided tour explores the Curandero Trail, which has steep sections that are not suitable for visitors who use wheelchairs, walkers or strollers.

Space is very limited so pre-registration is required.

Separate admissions ticket is required for entry into the Arboretum.

Please allow extra travel time due to traffic congestion along the US 60 for the Arizona Renaissance Festival.
